Several High profile Dressage Enthusiasts got together to form a new innovative Dressage Club. We are focussed only on the Dressage Discipline and aim to offer a unique opportunity to our members to progress in the sport they love.
Mission Statement
Activities to fulfil this goal will include the following:
- Riding Clinics from both local and overseas instructors
- Theoretical seminars and boot camps
- Favourable rates for clinics for Club members
- Selection of branded clothing (Special Prices for Club members)
- Special Events (Club/video evenings)
- Regular Newsletters and updates to members
- Ranking system and awards at the end of the year
- All Age groups catered for
- Lessons on school masters for talented prospects.

Suzanne Horne - President
Kim Hobbs - Chair
Kim adds a wealth of business and legal experience to the Vybrant team. She has an LLB, B.Pharm and MSC.Med and worked in the corporate world for a number of years as R and D Manager at Adcock Ingram. She started riding as a junior and is now riding her warmblood Duneside Anytime at Medium Level. She is married with a young daughter and lives in Pretoria
Lynette Byrne - Treasurer
Lynette holds a B.Comm in Management Accounting and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. She is currently studying towards a Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. She has been an active dressage competitor for many years and currently competes at Medium level.
Caroline Potts : Officials Representative
Caroline brings many years’ judging experience to the Vybrant team. She was first an international 3* judge but found the requirements of this position too onerous to manage when one has family in South Africa. She is now an FEI 3* Para Dressage Judge and a DSA National A Panel Judge and was Chairman of the DSA National Judges Committee for a number of years. She travels extensively throughout Africa, judging and coaching, also training judges for the FEI ESEE program. She is also an accomplished artist.
John Smith - Coaches Representative
Certified International Dressasge Coach. John has served on several committees as well as being the co-founder and vice chair of the South African Doma Vequera Association.
John's speicality is the Piaffe, Passage and Tempi Changes. He has trained many horses up to Grand Prix level. John currently runs the training establishment Water crescent Farm.
Lilian Mohr: Athletes Representative
Passionate about horses and dressage and is currently competing at Novice level, Heads up the Legal, Compliance and Operations for short term insurance company in the cyber insurance space. Recently completed her LLB.
Judith Harrison: Development
No stranger to dressage and brings with her valuable knowledge and experience when she managed the DSA Office for several years. Currently Manager of the Wholesale Division of Western Shoppe.
